Damage Deposit:
A $100 refundable damage deposit will automatically be added per contract to all rental items. If the cost of damage is more than the $100 damage deposit charged, the customer is responsible for 100% of any additional damage or breakage cost. The customer is responsible for 100% of stolen or missing items cost minus the damage deposit charged.
Cancellation:
A 10% cancellation fee will be retained for all orders cancelled within 4 weeks from the delivery or customer pick-up date after final confirmation. A 20% cancellation fee will be charged on orders cancelled less than one week to the delivery or customer pick-up date.
Refunds:
Refunds will not be issued for rented items returned unused.
Late Returns:
Rented items returned after the scheduled return date on the applicable contract will be subject to late charges each day overdue.
Customer’s Responsibility:
Rented items remain the responsibility of the customer from the time of delivery/customer pick-up to the time of their return. Damaged or missing items MUST be reported upon delivery/customer pick up or as soon as noted. The customer will not misuse or damage the rented items. Customer shall not make or permit any repairs to be made without a written consent of Distinct Enterprise Ltd. The customer is responsible for the safety and security of anyone using the equipment and has planned accordingly. In the event of any accident or incident causing bodily injury or property damage, the customer agrees to accept full responsibility and shall indemnify and hold Distinct Enterprise Ltd. blameless from any claims, actions or judgments. The customer agrees to pay any legal costs incurred by Distinct Enterprise Ltd. in defending any such legal actions. The customer agrees to provide a full written report on any incident or accident including the names and addresses of those involved, and witnesses.
Cleaning of Rented Items:
All rentals must be cleaned and returned in the same manner as delivered or picked up. Items not meeting these conditions are subject to additional fees.
Delivery & Pick-up:
Delivery and pick-up is available at a fee. Orders and pick-up requests must be placed no later than 2 business days for a delivery/pick-up. Deliveries and pick-ups are available from 9am – 5pm, Mon-Fri. Proof of ID (drivers license) is required at pick-up.
Delivery/Pick-Up Charges:
- $90 delivery and $90 pick-up charges within City of Calgary city limits.
- Delivery/Pick-up outside City of Calgary city limits: Mileage is calculated depending on location and the number of crew required for delivery and/or pick-up. Please contact us about rates.
